From May 19 to 21, 2025, Regensburg, Germany, will host an international conference on sustainable development and environmental research, bringing together Ukrainian and Bavarian experts. This event will foster knowledge exchange and strengthen cooperation in environmental protection, with participants including research institutions, infrastructure companies, environmental initiatives, and public authorities from both regions.
On the first day, plenary sessions will be held, along with discussions on funding opportunities, best practices in industry collaboration, and thematic working groups on water, waste, and energy. Participants will also explore involvement in major European programs such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, and Interreg.
Site visits to best practice locations across Bavaria will be the focus on the second day. These include advanced water treatment facilities, waste management plants, and urban energy efficiency and cooperative projects.
Strategic planning will be the primary focus on the final day, summarizing results, building partnerships, and developing ideas for joint applications for international funding.
This event will serve as a unique platform for establishing sustainable international connections and jointly developing solutions in the field of ecology and sustainable development.
